Garbage & Recycling to be out by 8:30 AM
There is a 2 bag maximum (must be less than 50 lbs each) per week waste pickup per residence. If you require more bags to be picked up please purchase a "Bag Tag" from the Municipal office for $3.00 each. If your bag exceeds the weight limit or number of bags, it will not be collected.
There is no limit to recycling. Please only put in recycle bags only items that can be recycled.
Newspaper & Magazines, Box Board & Cardboard, Aluminum, Steel, #1 Plastic Bottles, Gable Top Containers (milk cartons), Aseptic packaging (juice boxes), HDPE #2 Plastics, & Glass.
Please rinse out plastic, glass, or metal containers! Cleaning out containers avoids contaminating other materials, reduces unpleasant odours, and the development of mold. It also ensures sorting centre employees work in a healthier environment.
